SECURITY & SELF-CUSTODY MODEL

Built so we can’t touch your funds.

Self-custody wallet. Your keys and funds remain under your control at all times. Here is exactly how that works on your device.

Keys generated on device

Private keys are generated on your device from a BIP-39 recovery phrase that only you hold. They are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Encrypted storage

Keys are stored encrypted in the operating system’s secure enclave — the iOS Keychain on iPhone and the Android Keystore on Android.

Biometric & passcode unlock

Access to the wallet is protected by biometric unlock and a passcode, using your device’s native authentication.

Transactions signed locally

Transaction signing is performed locally on your device. Unsigned transactions never leave it, and neither do your keys.

Risk scanning before signing

Tokens and addresses are scanned for known risks before you sign, adding a check between you and malicious contracts.

This website has no wallet

This site is information only. It will never show a “connect wallet” button or ask you to enter a recovery phrase — treat any page that does as phishing.

BlackFort cannot recover a lost recovery phrase. Losing your phrase means permanent loss of access to your wallet. Write it down and store it safely offline.

BlackFort will never ask for your recovery phrase — not by email, chat, social media or support. Anyone who does is trying to steal from you.
