LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 21 September 2026 — DRAFT FOR LEGAL REVIEW
1. Who we are
BlackFort Wallet (the “App”) is non-custodial wallet software for iOS, Android and the Chrome browser extension, published by BLACKFORT PLATFORMS LLC, a company registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines with its address at Griffith Corporate Centre, Beachmont, Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines (“BlackFort”, “we”, “us”, “our”). BlackFort is the data controller for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy. Contact: privacy@blackfortwallet.com.
2. What the App does with your keys
The App is self-custody software. Your seed phrase and private keys are generated and stored on your own device and are never transmitted to, or held by, BlackFort. We cannot access, recover or reset your wallet. Blockchain transactions you sign are broadcast to public networks and are permanently visible on those networks; BlackFort does not control that data.
3. Personal data we collect
We keep collection to the minimum needed to operate the App and this website:
Technical data: IP address, device type, operating system and App version, crash and diagnostic logs, and error reports.
Usage data: aggregated and pseudonymised analytics about how the App and website are used.
Public blockchain data: wallet addresses and transaction data you choose to view, which are read from public networks and third-party node or price providers.
Support data: your email address and the contents of any message you send us.
We do not collect your name, identity documents or bank details to use the App. If you buy, sell or swap assets through an integrated third-party provider, that provider collects and processes your data under its own privacy policy.
4. Why we use your data and on what basis
To provide, maintain and secure the App and website (performance of our terms with you and our legitimate interests).
To diagnose crashes, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve features (legitimate interests).
To respond to your support requests (performance of our terms with you).
To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
To send product updates only where you have opted in (consent, withdrawable at any time).
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions (hosting, analytics, crash reporting, email support), with third-party providers you choose to use inside the App (for example on-ramp, swap, staking or node providers), with our group companies, and with authorities where required by law. Providers may be located outside your country; where required we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
6. Retention
We keep technical and diagnostic logs for up to 12 months, support correspondence for up to 24 months after the matter is closed, and any other data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Data on public blockchains cannot be deleted by us.
7. Security
Keys are encrypted at rest on your device and protected by your device passcode or biometrics. Data in transit to our services is encrypted. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for keeping your seed phrase and device secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise them, email privacy@blackfortwallet.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Children
The App is not directed at persons under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy and will post the revised version here with a new effective date. Questions: privacy@blackfortwallet.com, or by post to BLACKFORT PLATFORMS LLC, Griffith Corporate Centre, Beachmont, Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
